Deconstruction Zone is an interactive tour with displays and activities through the Cross-Cultural Center that explore the various forms of oppression. The oppressions explored include, but are not limited to, racism, classism, heterosexism, homophobia, ageism, xenophobia, sexism, and ableism.

› Using Math to Fight Terrorism A talk for undergrads by Prof. Martonosi

Operations research is the use of mathematical models to improve systems and processes, and it has myriad applications from supply chain management to sports scheduling. In this talk, we'll describe how to use operations research techniques to solve problems in homeland security, illustrating both the broad applicability of mathematics, and the advantages of a broad mathematical education.
